Environmental Policy

Island Group will:
1. Provide, as a minimum, a standard of Environmental Management which is
appropriate to the nature, scale and impact of our activities and services.
The Environmental Management System will fully comply with all applicable
legal requirements and with other requirements to which we subscribe and
which relate to our environmental aspects.
2. Provide adequate and appropriate resources (including staff) with the
information, instructions, training and supervision necessary to enable
them to comply with, implement and continually improve the Environmental
Management System, its Policy and associated Procedures.
3.
Minimise our Environmental Impacts, prevent pollution, and reduce resource
usage of our own office based activities. This will be done by establishing
environmental objectives and targets which will be monitored regularly.
4.
Encourage clients to prevent pollution and minimize the adverse impacts
of projects in all phases.
5.
Maintain a constant and continuing interest in Environmental Management
matters applicable to our activities by consulting and involving Employees
wherever possible to achieve a continuing cost effective improvement in
performance.
6.
Periodically review the Policy, and the Management System and audit the
compliance of both.
